Data Centre Network Problem This Morning

This announcement is for BizPartner hosting customers only.

We refer to the email circulars sent to all customers on 4th July and again on 15th July 2008 on the planned maintenance work to be done by CBJ1 Data Center (formerly known as MyLoca) today on 17th July 2008 supposedly from 12am to 5am.

The maintenance was supposed to take 5 hours only and to end everything at 5am.  However, the work had taken longer than expected.

As a result, many customers were not able to access email service and their web sites were down this morning.  But now everything should be OK.

Please note that our servers hosted in the above data centre were alright.  But the data centre connection was not available due to the maintenance.

We were also flooded by customer calls from 8am this morning that I was not able personally take calls from many of you.

However, most problems had been resolved in the morning and customers have been able to use the services without problem.  We are sorry for the downtime caused.  You can download and read the incident report by the data centre here.
