I wonder why people prefer native speaker to teacher Japanese Language? I hold a degree from Japan university. I feel that for a beginner, a non native speaker is far much better. A non native speaker teacher can explain better because she or he went through the difficulty to learn and master the language. Thus they know your problem too. For example it is very difficult for a Malaysia to explain the Imbuhan “me” when to use “me”,”meng”.”men” etc. because we are already use to it. So don’t look down on your non speaker language teacher, they can do a good job too.

I take online Japanese lessons at http://www.nihongo-pro.com

Learning japanese online could save you a lot of money compared to an in-person private tutor.
